Have respect for each other, if you yourself wants to be respected.
General Rules:
Ranks are appointed to keep the pack in order and administrate discipline on those who do not follow the rules. Please pay respect to them and do what they ask of you, they work hard in the pack and have therefore earned the title of a ranking member.
Although we are a serious RP pack, we are willing to help you with your rping if you need any help!
All images you see on the boards are copyright to their rightful owners. I do not take credit for them.
3 Warnings are given out to wolves who ignore rules. By the third warning you recieve a permanent ban! With each warning you get, it is put up next to your name e.g Riveraye 1 warning. This is to keep record of who has warnings.
Fowl language, profanity, sexual content or racial comments will not be tollerated!
Please keep everything pg rated. We may have younger members so consider them.
Theft is taking other's ideas/images/content without permission. Please do not do any of this, on my site or others. This will result in an immediate ban.
You may not have multiple accounts here. One to each member is all.
Please use proper gestures and stances when you see a rank. If you dont, the ranking wolf will dominate you into submission. There is a page on wolf behaviour that you can read if you are unsure of how to do this.
As for coloring of wolves, please keep everything natural, no blue or purple fur. However, your eye color may be different.
Accounts that are inactive for a week will be deleted and you will have to sign up again. If you are leaving for over 5 days please let us know in advance by posting this in the "departing" section.
Do not impersinate any of the members or mock them. This is absolutely uncalled for.
Once you've decided which pack you will join, you must call for the alphas of that pack and ask to be accepted.
Please do not advertise your sites, or forums anywhere on the forums, we have a seperate section for that.
Powerplaying is a definate way to get you banned. We strongly dislike it and find it just plain wrong to do.
You must be serious and realistic about the character you take on.
Your character may die at any time, but please inform the ranks of this. Again, please be realistic.
Natural disasters happen. The alpha's create them, it is up to you how you get around it.
Please be aware of your spelling in the forums - I realise anyone can make a mistake, but slang or chat spelling is not aloud eg. lil', dun wanna, gotta, etc.
Although this is a wolves only pack, you may come across other animals in the lands eg. deer, minks, small cats etc. The ranks may act out one of these. But you may not be anything but a wolf character.
Seasons go and come, and these have different meanings in the life of a wolf. Please be aware of season change in the pack and what it means.
A pack can never live in the same territory forever. However, you are never forced to move with us. If you choose to stay behind, this is taken as a leaving of the pack for good.
Guests are NOT allowed to post in the forums apart from the guests board. If you have any questions, please email me.
Rank Challanging rules and Pack battles:
You may challange ranks for their positions. Post who you want to challange in the "Fight Requests" board. The challanger may submit without a fight. You may decline a challange too.
Other reasons for a fight are allowed, but first email the alphas to let them know.
Battles between packs happen here. When, is up to the packs, their relationships with eachother, and if the alpha's decide to challange a pack for ultimate control. The loosing pack's alphas must submit to the winning pack and live under them, which means the new winners gain control over that pack. But as there are no limits here, the loosing alphas may decide to run, along with any of the pack members. They can then either try to start another pack, or join one of the other packs, but as bottom ranking. Or, stay under the winning pack's control, (at this point, their ranks and their pack member's ranks are dropped to the bottom rank, to start working up again) and once at a decent ranking, may challange the alphas for leadership. But remember, it's not advised as you could find the whole pack against you.
Mating and breeding Rules:
Mating season is in the 3rd and 4th week of winter, pups born the first 2 weeks of spring, the only time females may become pregnant.
Wolves must be 2 years old to breed.
You are allowed to steal other wolves mates, if they decide to stand with you. But if the wolf's mate you want decides to fight you for him/her, you must fight or submit. If the mate you want is female, and she has pups, the winner has the right to kill them (its harsh, but thats nature) but only if they are UNDER 1 YEARS OLD. Challanging alphas for their mates is not advised, for most likely you'll have the whole pack against you.
Ask the alpha for permission to breed before hand.
You may challange a wolf for his/her mate. You may decline the challange, or submit to the challanger without a fight. Post your challange in the "Fight Requests" board. If your mate is challanged, and he/she loses, you MUST stand with the winner, you cannot stay with your defeated mate.
When a female is pregnant, pregnancy lasts for 2 weeks, then taking care of pups for another 2 weeks. Pups must have an account, or they will die.
Hunting Rules:
Only ranks can call for a group hunt. However single hunting is allowed by anyone at any time.
The highest ranked wolf makes the decisions and tactics, unless they choose someone else.
Wolves never go for the jugular. They run down prey and rip open it's sides and belly to kill it. Once the animal falls down then they grab it's muzzle to suffocate the animal. Please remember that as you participate in the hunt.
Highest ranked wolves eat first while lower ranked wolves wait their turn.
Fights Rules:
Again, NO powerplaying.
You may dodge 3 times, but you must have at least one injury. You may turn down the challenge if you don't want to fight. However, this is part of keeping your rank and why you were chosen so turning down challenges are not encouraged. The alpha decides the winner in the fight.
If you dont want to die, submit or run.
You may challenge ranks for their position.
Packs:
You may join any of the 4 packs, but if you choose not to, you must roam as a loner and accept being an under-dog. Remember that when you join any pack for the first time, you start at the lowest ranking, Omega, and then work your way up by earning the pack member's trust and proving yourself worthy!
One last thing to keep in mind...you cannot be in two places at once. Again, think realisticly.
Thank you for reading the rules. I hope you follow them well, and it is not to punish you or make life harder, but to keep everyone happy in the pack. Without law there is no order.
