Staff- These wolves work hard to help keep the site and QV members in order and running smoothly. If the site owner is unable to be around for a certain amount of time, they take over and keep everything going. They are therefore to be respected.
Alpha (Elite rank)– The leaders of the pack, normally one is more dominant. The first into the land or born of the previous alphas. The alphas will fight for their land, members, and own rank if wished. Others can challenge alphas, but the whole pack will most likely be upon them. They eat first, make the rules, decide where to stay, hunt, who has what ranks and discipline pack members. It is normally wanted to please your alphas, get on their good side.
Alpha Heir (Elite rank)- This wolf is the offspring of the alphas. Their rank cannot be challanged.
Beta (Elite rank)– The second in command. More often then not, the offspring of the alphas. Other times they are related, or simply close friends of the alphas. They can accept some wolves into the pack, chase members out, lead hunts, help the alphas keep members in line and lead the pack while the alpha is away or missing. A very important role.
Beta Heir (Elite rank)- This wolf is the offspring of the Betas. Their rank cannot be challanged.
Deta (Elite rank)– The rank beneath the betas. The wolves that have made this rank will most likely become beta later on. Detas are very important members, respected highly by all beneath, for normally they are close friends of the alphas. They can lead hunts, give reports to the alphas on loners in question, help Betas keep members in line and chase members out.
Gamma – Another important role, normally the offspring of the alpha reaches this rank by their third year, being prepared to one day take over the pack. Gammas can lead hunts, and report any trouble in the pack to the alphas.
Delta (Elite rank)– Deltas are high ranking others that have proved themselves to the pack one way or another. Sometimes alpha and beta offspring have this rank in their third years.
Guardian (Elite rank)– Like Deltas, Guardians have proved themselves to the pack. They protect the pack, control fights and have the authority to cast members out.
Zeta – Zetas are respected ranks as well, being thought of higher than others by the alpha, he / she gives them this rank. Zetas can lead hunts.
Theta – Thetas are just below Zetas. The wolves here aren’t yet as highly respected by the alpha but are quickly making their way.
Iota – The wolves that reach this rank have totally proved themselves to the alpha, and trust has been gained. Now they are working their way up with respect from the alphas, betas and others.
Kappa – Normally where the lead pup ends up at his second year.
Omicron – Trust is built with the alpha, and most of the pack.
Rhos – Another step up, more under you, less above you. The trust is growing with the alpha.
Sigmas – The wolves that have climbed another notch up the rope. They are being considered by the alphas.
Taus – The wolves of the pack that are getting a good grip and are starting to climb. They have been noticed by the alpha, but still have a long way to go.
Upsilon – The basic and starting out rank for all wolves joining the pack, whether pups or loner adults. They must work hard to have their rank raised, and when it is, they still have a long way to go.
Omegas – Hated by all the other members of the pack, normally have offended the others in some way and so the alpha lowers them to this rank.
Pups – The youngsters of the pack. Normally born of the alphas or betas, all wolves help to raise them. The other pack fems can nurse them while the mother is away, and males compete sometimes to stay behind and pupsit. Only the Elite ranks are permitted in Council Rock
